The 1953 Chevrolet Two Ten classic is an original survivor that made the handsome two-tone Peelers 53 an attractive way to buy. In fact, all 1953 Chevrolet Two-Ten classic models were sold, as a four-door, convertible coupe, and hardtop coupe. Other Chevy models were Deluxe. Altogether, 1953 Chevy sales were so good that all models sold 1,341,160 units! The Chevys '53 and '54 were the precursors to the famous Chevys Five Trio: '55, '56, '57. The V8 wasn't available in Chevys until 1955, so the only engines available were the old L-head stovebolt with 235 cid producing 108 hp with manual transmission and 115 with Powerglide, automatic transmission.
