Is 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S580 - Limousine special.
Ultimate luxury cars like the Mercedes-Maybach 2023 S-Class offer the world's richest place to rest their weary heads as they commute between their rooftop helipad and their home in the Hamptons. These high net worth individuals can choose between V-8 or V-12 twin-turbo engines and enjoy an extremely spacious and luxurious cabin. Believe it or not, Maybach's styling is rather subtle compared to the brighter entrants in the ultra-luxury class, including the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Ghost. This quieter look allows the S-Class to navigate traffic without attracting unwanted attention, something you'll want if you're a camera-shy billionaire. The rear seat is the place for you, especially if the S-Class is equipped with optional tilt and massage VIP seats. But the Maybach takes care of the driver, too, with premium leather upholstery, a comfortable driving position, and a host of high-tech infotainment features.
What's new for the 2023 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S580 - Limousine.
Little has changed in the S-Class for 2023, but Mercedes-Maybach will produce a limited edition S680 designed by Virgil Abloh in honor of the late fashion designer. It has collaborated with Mercedes-Maybach on experimental cars in the past, but this production model - which will be limited to just 150 examples - is ready for street use. The black and brown color scheme pays homage to the Project Maybach Concept with impressive, powerful mono-wheels and the same brown finish. The two-tone look remains throughout the luxury car's cabin.

Engine, transmission and performance 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S580 - Limousine.
Under the hood of every S580 sedan is a 496-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, boosted by a 48-volt hybrid system. Go with the S680 swaps in a 621 hp 6.0 liter V-12. In the coming stages, all models will come with the 4Matic all-wheel drive system from Mercedes. The V-8 produces 33 more horsepower than the old S560 as of 2020, and based on our short test drive, it has plenty of power. The power rating of the V-12 is the same as the 2020 S650 and does not benefit from the 48V hybrid system. We didn't get a chance to test the performance of either model.
Fuel Economy and MPG in the real world 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S580 - Limousine.
The EPA estimates the S580 to be good for 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway; S680 fuel efficiency ratings have not been released. Looking forward to the day we can test this comfortable cruiser; When we do, we'll take it on highway fuel economy at 75 mph and report those test results here. More information on the fuel economy of the S-Class.
But when we do, we'll update this story as impressions and test results increase. Air suspension and active sound cancellation are standard on the new model, helping the car deliver a silky and extremely quiet ride; The S-Class also offers rear-wheel steering which should help this large sedan navigate narrow city streets.
