AMC Ambassador 1969 Rambler 1969..Only 1,512 buildings in total, ever! AMC wanted a powerful car that would rival the three largest automakers. AMC Ambassador 1969 Rambler 1969 Easy, they stuffed a big engine into a compact car. The very regular Rambler Rogue was their car of choice. With the help of Hurst Performance, they created a car that could blow the doors off some authentic muscle car. At the time, there wasn't much budget left to promote AMC. The car needed to have its own billboard, so it was given a disgusting look that at the time was considered repulsive. Today it is an exciting and highly sought after car. This car is very solid, complete and mostly original. It is maintained as needed, original transmission system. Validated by X and M in vin.

It definitely makes a statement. The red sides and the blue bar are outlined with black. The body of this car seems to be really dry. The metal is clean and straight. All four wheel rims are folded over the wide tires, and this was done at the factory on all SC/Ramblers. It was repainted once years ago. It looks good but it's not perfect. It has the original air scoop "snout" and hood pins. It also has original bullet shaped mirrors. Each car also features a custom grille, black rear panel, and special emblems. As if the red, white, and blue paint weren't already enough - AMC thought the wheels should be blue too! The wheels were just painted, the owner left the trim rings, but they were also included in the car. It is wrapped in radial red linear tires.

It's basically the same Rambler inside other than the red, white, and blue headrests and sun tachometer in the shaft. Both front seats recline. Appears to be in original condition including carpet, door panels and upholstery. Original waffle print headliner. The dashboard area is exceptional, there are no cracks in the dashboard, the dashboard is excellent. It has a rare radio omission plate, and there is no antenna in the car either.

It has an original engine of 390-315 hp with the original # mark on the valve cover. The ram air induction system is complete and practical. The stock manifold, the ignition system etc, the cap, coil and wiring look like new. It has electric brakes. The engine compartment appears to contain clean metal.
