The test car that we will introduce you to today was called the Hilux Revo BEV, but unfortunately its technical specifications are not known yet. What we can say for sure is that it is based on the combustion-powered Hilux, but it has undergone a number of modifications. In the design to make it distinct, it also does not emit carbon dioxide emissions as it is completely electric.

The changes that characterize the shape of the new Toyota truck appear more clearly in the front end, as Toyota designed a closed grille for the small truck, while it also installed a clear charging port in the front left side.

During a speech by Toyota CEO Akio Toyota at the event held in Thailand, where the Hilux Revo BEV Concept was presented, he did not mention whether the car would be available in a production version or if it was only a test project, but he reiterated his confidence that Toyota can achieve carbon neutrality through cars; Hybrid, PHEV, electric, and fuel cell cars.

How long is the wait for a new HiLux.

The Toyota president said: “To achieve carbon neutrality, we must remember that carbon is the real enemy, not a specific power group. Frankly, BEV cars are not the only way to achieve carbon neutrality goals in the world. At Toyota, we believe in creating a full suite of carbon-reducing options for our customers from hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in electric vehicles, battery electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles. We are also following up on hydrogen fuel options such as the GR Yaris and GR Corolla that run on hydrogen. As we work towards a sustainable future, I also believe we need to take a comprehensive approach to carbon neutrality.”

What is better  HiLux or ranger.

While you might not expect Toyota to show off a significant vehicle like an electric pickup in Thailand, the truth is that the Southeast Asian country absolutely loves pickups. In fact, the Isuzu D Max is the best-selling new car in the country, putting it ahead of the current Hilux, Honda City, Toyota Yaris, Ford Ranger, and Toyota Corolla.
